Zac Efron has been forced to call in a plumber to fix a broken sprinkler at his new Hollywood home, after the actor's attempts to correct the problem left his garden flooded.
The High School Musical star splashed out $1 million (£671,140) on a sprawling mansion in Los Angeles earlier this year (09), but admits a recent turn as a handyman ended in disaster.
He tells People.com, "My sprinkler broke the other day, and I spent all day trying to fix it. I just made things worse and now my whole back yard is flooded."
But that's not the only task Efron is struggling with as a first-time homeowner.
He adds, "Keeping the house clean (is a task). It's like a bigger version of the disaster formerly known as my room."
