Hilary Duff has claimed the explicit images of her which were uploaded online on Friday (5th September) are fakes and her representative is threatening legal action to anyone who attempts to pass them off as legitimate.
Hilary Duff, the actress best known as Lizzie McGuire, has been forced to contact US authorities about a series of faked photographs which bore the actress' likeness. It appears Duff is the latest victim of the hacker, or his copycats, who posted a series of photographs online last Sunday (31st August). Although Duff was not one of the initial stars to be hacked (or their photographs faked), images appeared with her likeness on the same website on Friday (5th September).
Hilary Duff has informed the FBI the images are fake.

Even with its relentlessly cliched production design (trenchcoats and flickering candles galore), this raucous gothic thriller deploys enough visual flash to hold our attention. The gigantic effects-heavy action sequences are eye-catching and sometimes exciting, and there are elements of the story that almost begin to resonate before the script veers off in another more simplistic direction.
Based on a graphic novel, the story picks up where Mary Shelley's novel left off, as the monster (Eckhart) is attacked by demons that want to study his non-human existence. He's rescued by gargoyles, angelic protectors of humanity, and taken to their Queen Lenore (Miranda Otto), who names him Adam and enlists him in the demon-killing cause. Although her second-in-command (Courtney) isn't so sure. Over the next 200 years, Adam hones his skills before returning to Lenore just as the demon Prince Naberius (Nighy) is launching his evil plan to re-animate a dead army with the help of sexy scientist Terra (Strahovski) and Dr Frankenstein's journal. In other words, all hell is about to break loose.
Annoyingly, every time the plot begins to get interesting, writer-director Beattie indulges in another vacuous action set piece that's as irrelevant as the 3D. There's a decent story in here about the nature of the human soul, religious fervour and moral tenacity, but the film only uses these things as devices to make the dialog sound intelligent. Which is tricky since Beattie directs his cast to deliver their lines in growling, blurting monotone. Eckhart's voice-over narration is particularly dull. And this over-earnest tone leaves every potential relationship as a non-starter.

'I, Frankenstein' has fallen far short of critics' expectations and has been highly criticised for having a weak script and poor acting.
I, Frankenstein, the latest adaptation of Mary Shelley's classic novel, has been crushed by critics and no electrical cables or extra body parts seem likely to rebuild its reputation.
Aaron Eckhart stars as Adam, Frankenstein's monster.
The creators of the Underworld saga have contributed to this supernatural monstrosity, which is hardly surprising considering the standards of the latter movies in that particular franchise. The film is based on the graphic novel of the same name by Kevin Grevioux which places Frankenstein's monster in an alternative present day where gargoyles and demons struggle for dominance.

Adam is the original creature created by Dr. Frankenstein 200 years ago and has taken on his maker's surname having been mourning his death for so long. He now returns to society having been hidden away in the North Pole for the last two centuries and finds that he is stronger than any other lifeform on the planet. However, he soon finds himself embroiled in a deadly battle between two different immortal forces of the world that are determined to take over the planet. Adam wants to save the human race that he was born into and that once showed him mercy, but how can he when he's one guy against so many unstoppable beings who are determined to destroy him no matter what?
'I, Frankenstein' is the thrilling fantasy adventure written and directed by Stuart Beattie ('Tomorrow, When the War Began', 'Australia', '30 Days of Night') and based on the as yet unpublished graphic novel by Kevin Grevioux. It acts as a sequel to the original 1818 gothic novel 'Frankenstein' by Mary Shelley, bringing Frankenstein's monster into a modern society that is under threat by more of his own kind. The film is set to be released in the UK on January 24th 2014.
Dexter could have a spin-off as Showtime's entertainment president David Nevins hints at a panel for the show which is due to finish in September.
Michael C. Hall at Showtime's celebrations of 8 seasons of Dexter held at Milk Studios in L.A.
The series, now in its eighth and final season, follows Dexter Morgan a serial killer with a code of conduct. Dexter, working as a blood splatter analyst for Miami police, is able to kill those who break the code often taking police cases from them and dealing harshly with the perpetrators. After wrapping his victims (or criminals depending on how you view it) in cling film he stabs them through the heart, all the time narrating his bizarre logic.

The premiere of season 8 of Dexter, airing last night (Sunday 30th June) has opened up even more questions than we had at the end of season 7. Here's a quick re-cap of last night's episode.
A quick re-cap of season 7: Deb (Jennifer Carpenter) now knows Dexter is a serial killer; Deb killed LaGuerta (Lauren Velez) and it was all very, very messy at the end of last season. But this is the last season, the last 12 episodes which will tie up the loose ends and we'll finally find out if Dexter will fly or fall.
The episode is called 'A Beautiful Day' and in Dexter's world it most definitely is. It is six months on from La Guerta's death which has made sure Dexter's safe - for now. Everything is going well with Hannah McKay, Dexter's girlfriend and serial killer in arms. Dexter turns up, after romping around with Hannah for a while, to a bench dedication in honour of LaGuerta.

Andy Brewster is an inventor who is determined to sell his brand new product by embarking on an 8-day 3000 mile road trip. To kick off his journey, he flies out to visit his mother Joyce who happens to be the extremely embarrassing and over protective kind. After learning that she has remained single since he last saw her and acknowledging that she hasn't had any kind of romance since he was 8-years-old, Andy takes pity on her and, to her utmost delight, invites her to accompany him on his trip across the States. Not against his expectations, Joyce proves a lot to handle with her poor driving skills, extreme naivety and constant warnings particularly against hitchhikers. However, he has a better time than he expects as he and his mother get to know each other more deeply than they have ever done before convincing him that, as much as he'd like to think not, he still needs her around.
This is a wonderfully heartfelt comedy about how the love of a parent never becomes unwanted or unneeded. Directed by Anne Fletcher ('Step Up', '27 Dresses', 'The Proposal') and written by Dan Fogelman ('Cars', 'Bolt', 'Crazy, Stupid, Love.'), 'The Guilt Trip' will hit cinemas on February 22nd 2013.
Starring: Barbra Streisand, Seth Rogen, Adam Scott, Yvonne Strahovski, Colin Hanks, Brett Cullen, Casey Wilson, Danny Pudi, Dale Dickey, Miriam Margolyes, Nora Dunn, Amanda Walsh, Michael Cassidy & Robert Curtis Brown.
