Rapper Young Jeezy has been honoured by the U.S. Congress for his philanthrophic efforts in Houston, Texas. The Put On hitmaker, real name Jay Jenkins, hails from Atlanta, Georgia but he was the guest of honour during a special ceremony on Saturday (16Feb13) when he was presented with a plaque by Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee of the 18th Congressional District of Texas. The Certificate of Congressional Recognition celebrated the hip-hop star for his work in the community.
