Rapper Young Dro has been ordered to pay up more than $61,220 (£38,263) to cover the cost of a luxury sports car he had repossessed.

T.I.'s music protege lost possession of the 2007 Maserati Quattroporte Sport Gt over the summer (12) after car dealership bosses claimed he had fallen behind on payments.

They filed suit against the rising star in a bid to recoup some of the cash and a judge in Atlanta, Georgia has now ruled in the firm's favour after Young Dro failed to respond to the legal action.

A default judgement was made against the star last month (Oct12), according to Tmz.com, and he will now have to pay the full amount plus attorney's fees.
