Yoko Ono has hailed her late husband John Lennon as the "only beatle" who fought for peace during his time in the band. The avant-garde artist insists the tragic icon's crusading nature was what attracted to him, while she was similarly repelled by his bandmates supposed apathy. She says, "He is the only one who really wanted to do something about (the Vietnam War) when he was a Beatle. "One thing that brought us together was the fact that both of us were rebels in so many ways."
