Wu-Tang Clan producer RZA is climbing the ranks in Hollywood by expanding his acting portfolio - the rapper is set to join Robert Downey Jr. and Jamie Foxx in new movie DUE DATE.
The hip-hop star, who has scored music for films by Ridley Scott, Jim Jarmusch and Quentin Tarantino, has landed a handful of onscreen roles and producing projects.
RZA's on screen talents have now attracted the attention of bosses at Warner Bros., who have selected him to join the Todd Phillips-directed comedy, reports Daily Variety.
The film, also co-starring Michelle Monaghan and Zach Galifianakis, will follow Downey Jr.'s character as an expectant father racing back to Los Angeles for the birth of his first child.
Details of RZA's role have yet to be released.
