Woody Harrelson has joined the cast of 'The Hunger Games'.
Woody's character Haymitch is a drunk who was victorious in the 50th instalment of The Games - which takes places in a future society where participants, known as tributes, fight to not be killed.
Katinss and Peeta take part in the 74th games, a quarter of a century after Haymitch's battle.
The 49-year-old star has a number of projects coming up in the near future, and will soon be seen in 'Friends with Benefits' and 'Rampart'.
'The Hunger Games' - set to be directed by 'Seabiscuit' filmmaker Gary Ross - will be released in March 2012.
