Director Woody Allen barely acknowledged the onscreen kiss between Penelope Cruz and Scarlett Johansson in his new movie - because he was more interested in a worrying "mark" on his hand.
Cruz and Johansson share a steamy clinch in Allen's new film Vicky Cristina Barcelona - but the filmmaker was totally unfazed by the scene, because he had other matters on his mind.
Cruz explains, "He could not care less about our kissing scene. When we would ask him about it, he was more interested in a new mark which had appeared on his hand and was worrying him.
"He even stopped shooting so he could go to the doctor and get it checked out. We all had to wait around for him to come back."
And the Spanish actress insists that when he came back, he was still too distracted to properly oversee the seductive scene.
She adds, "On his return, I tried to discuss the scene with him again and he started complaining about the doctor who had said there was nothing wrong with him."
