Amber Heard: Probably not an obvious choice given her previous movies, but we think Amber Heard could be pretty formidable as DC's most-loved heroine. She was mean as a gun-toting undercover beauty star in Robert Rodriguez's 'Machete Kills' and she has remarkably good facial proportions, however there would have to be a little bulking up to do as Wonder Woman ain't gonna be fighting any supervillains with such a slender physique. She's generally a great icon for such a strong, feminine role as well as she has a genuine interest in guns, muscle cars and a fierce view on sexuality and her own sexual orientation. Girl power!

Alice Eve: Jumping on the bandwagon of shipping UK actors to Hollywood to take over the major comic book roles (think Henry Cavill as Superman, Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man and Tom Hiddleston as Thor's villainous brother Loki), we're putting forward Alice Eve as another possible. She has a delicate grace about her that certainly suits the innocence of the character's secretary alter-ego Diana Prince to the T, and yet she displays a very convincing personal strength as Lieutenant Dr. Carol Marcus in 'Star Trek Into Darkness' - a movie which also sees her show off some impressive abs in her 'underwear scene'.

Katy Perry: Okay, we know it's a long shot, but busty Katy Perry would suit that famous blue, red and gold skimpy outfit so well! She's beautiful, adored and is already Wonder Woman to many people with her Twitter account superseding Justin Bieber as the most followed on the internet. She's got the long dark hair, fabulous curves and the video for her hit single 'Roar' shows she knows a thing or two about Amazonian muscle. 'Can she act, though?' I hear you cry! Well, she's certainly open to it having appeared in episodes of 'Raising Hope' and 'How I Met Your Mother', and voicing Smurfette in 'The Smurfs' films.

Rosario Dawson: We know she doesn't look like Lynda Carter in any way shape or form, but Rosario Dawson has an exotic charm that we think is just right for Wonder Woman - after all, the heroine did not have American heritage as she was born on the island of Themyscira. Dawson has also previously played a Goddess in the film 'Percy Jackson & The Lightning Thief' - Wonder Woman might not be divine, but she's worshipped as a Princess in her homeland. Curiously, Dawson has previously displayed an interest in the character having had a voice role in the 2009 animated movie; alas, she was actually Artemis, but the connection is still there.
