Millie Bobby Brown and Winona Ryder return.
Finally, it has been confirmed that we can expect another season of the much-loved Netflix original series 'Stranger Things' to arrive in the coming months, which means more incredible action from the likes of Millie Bobby Brown, Noah Schnapp and Winona Ryder. Bring on 2017!
Stranger Things returns for season 2
For those who haven't yet seen the 8-part first season of sci-fi horror 'Stranger Things', it follows the mysterious disappearance of a young boy named Will (Schnapp) and the arrival of an unusual shaven-headed girl with poweres of telekinesis, who is initially only known as Eleven (Brown). With the help of Eleven, Will's friends find out what's going on behind Will's absence, and eventually he is reunited with his relieved mother Joyce (Ryder).
We were left with one hell of a cliffhanger, however, when Eleven became trapped in the same alternate dimension that Will was in, and it seems that the horror is not over for Will himself as we see him coughing up that weird slug in his bathroom.

Edward Scissorhands is no ordinary boy, as his name may tell. Created by a genius inventor who passed away before his subject was completed, he seems doomed to a life of solitude in a dilapidated castle. That is until the local Avon lady named Peg Boggs calls round and willingly takes the poor boy under her wing. Integrating him into civilised society isn't easy, however. While many neighbours are deeply accepting and impressed by his ability to cut hair and trim hedges, others see him as a danger with his bladed fingers that could easily cause some damage. Peg's daughter Kim is a little uneasy, despite how immediately taken Edward is of her, and her friends recognise this weakness and aim to exploit it to their advantage. Predictably, Edward's mistakes get him into a lot of trouble and he soon finds that the novelty of his presence is wearing thin.

The Sundance Film Festival is currently in full swing, having begun on 22nd January, and wrapping up on 1st February. This year, something particularly special is in the air at Salt Lake City, as the festival is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. That's right, the Sundance Film Festival has been running for 30 years! Starting out back in 1985, Sundance screened 86 films with the help of 13 staff members. Michael Keaton has revealed he had been in contact with Tim Burton about reprising his role as Beetlejuice in the sequel to the 1988 comedy.
Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetle... For fans of the 1988 comedy, repeating the name of the mischievous bio-exorcist three times is not something one should take lightly. Especially if you're dead! Although Beetlejuice has been banished to the waiting room of death, he may be heading back to earth as Michael Keaton has revealed he is in contact with Tim Burton, the original film's director.
Keaton starred as Beetlejuice in the 1988 supernatural comedy, centred on a deceased couple who attempt to regain possession of their house once a living family move in. Geena Davies and Alec Baldwin play the ghostly couple who request Beetlejuice's help and after a number of complications, including Beetlejuice's attempted elopement with the family's daughter (Winona Ryder), successfully regain control of their home. Ryder is also rumoured to be reprising her role.
Keaton, speaking to MTV, discussed the possibility of a second film at the Robocop junket in Los Angeles on Thursday (13th February). Although rumours of a sequel have been circulating since 2012 when it was revealed Seth Grahame-Smith was working on a script for Beetlejuice 2, Keaton has not mentioned the possibility of his involvement before. In the interview he said "I've e-mailed Tim a couple of times, talked to the writer a couple of times, but all really, really preliminary stuff. I always said that's the one thing I'd like to do again, if I ever did anything again. But it kind of required Tim to be involved some way or another."
