Willow Smith, the 10-year-old daughter of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, is set to perform at the White House's annual 'Easter Egg Roll' on Monday (25th April 2011). Willow Smith will join the likes of Greyson Chance and John Lithgow on the bill for the exclusive event.
'The Easter Egg Roll' is the largest annual public event held at the White House, with 30,000 people set to attend. Ticket holders from 50 different states have been randomly selected through an online lottery. This year's theme is "Get Up and Go", with the First Lady Michelle Obama looking to encourage children to live healthy and active lifestyles. Pop singer Colbie Caillat will be on hand to sing the National Anthem while Lily Beat and Dj Willywow will also be performing. Reading on the 'Storytime Stage' will be television host Kelly Ripa, figure skater turned author Kristi Yamaguchi and Mark Consuelos. The agenda for this year's event includes basketball and tennis games, as well as a 'Yoga Garden', and an 'Eggspress Yourself' arts and craft workshop.
Willow Smith recently finished touring with the 17-year-old pop sensation Justin Bieber. She is currently working on her debut album, which will be released through Jay Z's 'Roc Nation' label.
