Country music legend Willie Nelson has rehired the lawyer who made a previous charge for drug possession disappear 16 years ago to fight his latest marijuana bust.
The veteran singer was arrested in Texas last month (Nov10) after Border Patrol officers allegedly found a stash of pot onboard his tour bus.
The 77 year old reportedly admitted the marijuana was his and avoided a felony charge because the quantity was so small.
Nelson is now facing a misdemeanour count and a possible fine, but his attorney, Joe Turner, is confident he can "produce another miracle" for his client after doing the same for the star back in 1994, reports TMZ.com.
During that case, Turner argued authorities had performed an illegal search of Nelson's vehicle and he escaped the drug charge.
