Country icon Willie Nelson will be honoured in his native Texas - officials in Austin have decided to name a street after the star.
The veteran singer hails from Abbott, Texas and has lived near Austin for almost 40 years, and now officials in the city have announced they will be renaming a road in his honour.
A section of Second Street in Downtown Austin will soon be known as Willie Nelson Boulevard, according to the Austin American-Statesman newspaper.
City officials also plan to erect a life-sized statue of the 77-year-old musician in the area.
