Alice In Chains frontman William Duvall is stepping behind the camera to make a documentary about the punk rock scene in his native Atlanta, Georgia.
The musician has teamed up with director Eric Johnson for the project, titled All Alone Together, to explore the history of the music genre.
In a post on the Alice In Chains website, DuVall writes, "The film spotlights two generations of hardcore kids - those who jump-started the scene in the early 1980s and the new generation of kids who are carrying it forward in the present day - exploring the common threads and unique challenges faced by Atlanta’s rebel youth of different eras who dare to step outside the lines."
Writer-director Christopher McQuarrie brings a dark and gritty tone to this larger-than-life franchise.
