Will Young's summer tour came to a soggy end last night (12.07.12) as he braved torrential rain to perform at Epsom Live.
Will Young ended his outdoor summer tour in torrential rain last night (12.07.12).
The 'I Just want A Lover' hitmaker took to the stage at Epsom Live to entertain soaking fans with a string of his greatest hits including 'Evergreen', 'Your Game', 'Light My Fire' and 'Jealousy'.
Despite the wet weather, Will was in good spirits, joking everyone would still have a good time ''because we're British'', and undergoing costume changes when he got wet.
The star performed against a backdrop of different clothes pinned to the wall and was happy to swap his outfits for dry garments, which he removed from the background, prompting cheers from fans.
The show marked an end to Will's run of outdoor shows, which included performances at Sherwood Forest in Nottingham, the Cornbury Festival and Kew Gardens.
The pop star took to the stage last night as part of the Epsom Live event, a series of special evenings at Epsom Downs racecourse, where a high-profile artist takes to the stage after a race meeting.
Still to come at Epsom Live is Razorlight on Jul 19, The Rat Pack Vegas Spectacular on 26 July and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra on 2 August. Visit www.epsomdowns.co.uk for further information.
