Rapper/actor Will Smith is being linked with a consortium interested in investing in National Basketball Association (NBA) team the Philadelphia 76ers. The SWITCH hip-hop star has joined forces with 76ers legend JULIUS 'DR J' ERVING who is preparing a take-over bid for the sports franchise, according to The Philadelphia Daily News. Owners Comcast-Spectacor have already held talks with another interested party, and are allegedly asking $450 million (GBP250 million) for the franchise. A host of stars have invested in NBA teams, including SHAWN 'JAY-Z' CARTER, Nelly and R+B singer USHER.
