The former Dr. Feelgood star has been diagnosed with terminal cancer, but he turned out for An Evening With Suggs and Friends... at London's Porchester Halls to raise money for Pancreatic Cancer Uk.
MCPherson organised the show in honour of his sister-in-law Alannah, who died of the disease last year (12), and admits he chose to stage a concert over a more physical challenge.
He told the audience, "Talk went around of doing a marathon to raise money. I put up my hand. The following week I took a jog up to our nearest Tube (underground) station... I never made it."
