Whitney Houston's daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown will make her official public singing debut on Tv on Wednesday (28Nov12) when she belts out her mum's classic I'm Your Baby Tonight on her family reality show.

The teenager reveals she stopped singing after her mother's death in February (12) and only recently started hitting the high notes again thanks to the encouragement of former American Idol bandleader Ricky Minor, who mentored Whitney through her breathtaking performance of The Star Spangled Banner at the Super Bowl in 1991.

And she hopes to impress fans and critics alike when she performs on U.S. show The Houstons: On Our Own.

Bobbi Kristina tells MTv she's still trying to find her perfect voice: "I have a really versatile voice, so I don't really know yet what genre I'm going to be in... Of course I'm going to be compared to my mother. Being her daughter is a huge blessing, but also a curse at times."
