Fact: Songs by The White Stripes have been reworked as lullabies for babies for a new album compilation. Rockabye Baby executives, who have previously given baby makeovers to tracks by U2, The Beatles, and Coldplay, will release Lullaby Renditions of The White Stripes on 6 May (13).
Fact: The White Stripes' final gig is to be released as a live album. The rockers, who announced their split earlier this year (Feb11), held their last concert on 31 July, 2007 in Southaven, Mississippi.
Fact: THE White Stripes have ended their career together with a Grammy Award. The duo, which recently announced it had split, picked up a Best Boxed or Special Limited-Edition Package at Sunday's (13Feb11) Grammy Awards pre-show ceremony for its Under Great White Northern Lights package.
Fact: A rare White Stripes track, dubbed "the holy grail" for fans of the duo, has been sold at auction for $18,000 (£12,000). Lafayette Blues was originally released in 1998.

Fact: AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH director Davis Guggenheim has directed a new movie about the world's best guitar players. IT MIGHT GET LOUD features Jimmy Page, The Edge and the White Stripes' Jack White.
Fact: British rockers Muse will replace THE White Stripes on two of the duo's cancelled U.S. tour dates: Saturday's (15Sep07) show at the Austin City Limits festival and Sunday's (16Sep07) slot at the Stubbs Bar-B-Q, both of which are in Texas. The White Stripes were forced to cancel their concert dates because drummer Meg White is suffering from "acute anxiety".
