Former The White Stripes star Jack White is helping to give Tom Jones a career makeover by producing the Welsh crooner's new single.
The odd pair teamed up in the studio to revamp the track Jezebel, which originally featured on Jones' 2002 album Mr. Jones.
The B-side of the song will be Jones and White's rendition of Howlin’ Wolf's Evil (Is Going On).
White will release the single on vinyl through his Third Man Records label.
The rocker has made it a habit of helping to revive the careers of musical icons in recent years - he produced Loretta Lynn's Van Lear Rose in 2004 and even joined her band for studio sessions, and he also helped launch rockabilly star Wanda Jackson's comeback by producing her 2011 release The Party Ain't Over.
