THE White Stripes star Jack White is paying tribute to his Scottish ancestry on new album ICKY THUMP. The rocker admits two songs on the album, St Andrew (This Battle Is in the Air) and Prickly Thorn, but Sweetly Worn, are odes to his highland heritage. He says, "We're Scottish from many generations back. Through Nova Scotia, a lot of Scottish families moved to Detroit to work at the car factories. "I hope they (Scots) take these songs as my gift to them."
