Irish boyband Westlife are about to undergo a drastic change in direction - they're bidding to become country music stars.

The hunky group are heading off to Nashville, Tennessee, America - the home of country music - where they will be given just 72 hours in which to make the transformation and woo local crowds with their performance.

As part of a British TV challenge, the fivesome will be dressed in the country style and musically guided by top Nashville producers, voice coaches and choreographers.

Along the way they will meet up with the legendary Kenny Rogers and country singer Deana Carter.

And, at the end of their crash course, they will perform live in front of one of the world's most demanding audiences at Nashville's WILDHORSE SALOON.
