Westlife hunks Shane Filan and Nicky Byrne may be happily married men - but it doesn't stop some fans accusing them of being homosexual.

Filan, 24, wed Byrne's cousin GILLIAN WALSH in a romantic County Mayo, Ireland ceremony last December (28DEC03), five months after 25-year-old Byrne tied the knot with Irish premier Bertie Ahern's daughter GEORGINA in France.

The married singers regularly go out clubbing as a duo without their wives or bandmates Mark Feehily, Kian Egan or BRYAN McFADDEN.

Filan explains, "Me and Nicky have a 'ShaNicky' do where we'll go out all night.

"I think the fans thought we were having an affair.

"There's pictures they've made on the internet where it looks like we're snogging (kissing). What sort of sick person would do that to us?"
