Veteran crooner and Las Vegas icon Wayne Newton is making his video game debut in a star-studded animated programme about his beloved Sin City.
The singer has signed on to play the DJ character in Fallout: New Vegas, which will also feature the voices of Matthew Perry, Danny Trejo, Ron Perlman, Zachary Levi and Star Trek actors Michael Dorn and Rene Auberjonois.
But Newton won't be the only veteran singer in the cast - Kris Kristofferson will also join him as "a grizzled soldier at the end of his career".
Gaming bosses have yet to confirm if the programme will feature a duet with the pair.
Newton tells USA Today, "I have never been in a video game before and, frankly, have never played, simply because I have been working my whole life."
