Actor Wayne Crawford has lost his battle with cancer at the age of 69.
The Valley Girl star passed away on Saturday (30Apr16) at his home in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Crawford was best known for co-writing, producing and starring in the 1983 comedy Valley Girl, which also featured Nicolas Cage. He also appeared in several TV shows and movies, including American Heart, Jake Speed and Barracuda.
He was also the director of TV series and films, including Snake Island, Okavango: The Wild Frontier and South of Hell.
