Soccer player Wayne Bridge is reportedly planning to propose to The Saturdays singer Frankie Sandford and has even asked her dad for permission.
The English soccer player is allegedly planning to pop the question to the singer in the coming weeks, and both their families are delighted he has decided to make the commitment to her.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: ''Wayne is crazy about Frankie. He has been for years. They've talked about marriage but Frankie didn't want to get engaged before they spent half a year living 6,000 miles apart (for work).
''But now she's back Wayne's planning a proposal. He's asked her dad's permission and he said yes instantly.''
'Higher' hitmaker Frankie has been dating soccer star Wayne since late 2010 and he supported her throughout her battle with depression and panic attacks in 2011. The pair are expected to be the next from the girl group to tie the knot after Rochelle Humes wed JLS crooner Marvin Humes last summer.
Frankie, 24, originally banned Wayne, 32, from proposing before she jetted off to Los Angeles for five months last year as she wanted to focus on filming the band's new reality TV show, 'Chasing The Saturdays'.
She admitted at the time: ''I told him he couldn't propose before we came to LA. It would look like he'd only done it so I would stay with him.''
However, her bandmates are convinced she will be next, with Rochelle recently quipping: ''Frankie will be next!''
