Yellowcard's new single Sing For Me was released on October 11th, 2011. It is the third single from their universally acclaimed seventh album, When You're Through Thinking, Say Yes, which was released on March 2011 through Hopeless Records. The band has announced four UK dates at the end of November 2011 alongside Saves The Day.
Yellowcard were formed in Jacksonville, Florida in 1997 and are now based in Los Angeles. The current lineup includes frontman and rhythm guitarist Ryan Key; violinist and vocalist Sean Mackin; guitarist Ryan Mendez; drummer Longineu W. Parsons III and bassist Sean O'Donnell.
Yellowcard are well known for their use of a violin in their songs which is highly unusual for the punk genre. They continued to perform under a constantly changing lineup until 2007, when they went on hiatus. They announced their reformation in 2010. Since then they have toured will All Time Low; Runner Runner and Good Charlotte.
