Moya - Lost And Found

Brighton-based pop singer Moya released her latest single 'Lost and Found' on July 2nd 2012; the title track taken from her upcoming album and released through Four To One Records.

The smoky-eyed blonde appears in her own music video for the track being held and caressed by a dashing stranger whilst the 21-year-old belts out a classic sounding pop ballad doubtlessly entrancing all the listeners with her exquisite vocal control. 'He's actually an old friend of mine,' Moya said about the boy, 'picked for his beautiful face of course!' The video was made by Asylum Films who have worked with artists such as Lethal Bizzle, Ida Maria and Hadouken in the past. Although sounding very typically pop in some ways, Moya revealed that she didn't want to be labelled thus. 'There is definitely originality in this track that sets us apart', she insists. 'For me, this song teeters between being beautiful and slightly warped. It has quite a sinister feel to it but if you listen to the lyrics, it's actually quite up-lifting.'

It's certainly difficult to disagree with her; the eerie tone yet positive lyrics are an outstanding contrast which definitely makes her stand out from all the chart hitting pop artists.
