Benny Marchant releases his latest single 'Back To Life' today (June 11th 2012) from his LP to be released on September 16th 2012. It includes collaborations with Michael Brauer (Coldplay, Paul McCartney, John Mayer) and Kevin Killen (U2, Shawn Colvin, Elvis Costello).
'Back To Life' is the upcoming LP's title track; a classic love story with a touching music video to match. It received positive recognition after Marchant's highly successful US Radio Promo Tour and has even been chosen to feature on the upbeat sports movie, 'Crooked Arrows', directed by Steve Rash ('The Buddy Holly Story, 'American Pie' sequels, 'Bring It On').
Benny Marchant started out his musical career at Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland with his friends in a band called NRG which ended when the friends parted ways after college. Marchant, wanting to continue on his musical path, produced his own album 'Teller' in 2004 in a studio he set up in his mother and father's garage. 'Teller became my resume', revealed Marchant, and, despite its limited distribution, it received a good reception and one of the tracks 'Alone' was featured on a British TV show.
After receiving so far dazzling reviews in the states, Benny Marchant's next step is to captivate the UK with his version of pop rock.
