Baddies' new single, Talk To Me Germany, is taken from the band's second studio album, Build, which was released on March 5th, 2012. The band recently played Koko on March 16th for Club NME.
The video for Talk To Me Germany was directed, edited and produced by Harry Handyside. We follow a man, dressed in a sharp blue suit and bearing a resemblance to Red Dwarf's Kryten, wanders the streets, becoming steadily more alarmed as the video goes on.
Baddies formed in 2007 and comprise Michael Webster (vocals, guitar); Jim Webster (drums, vocals, electronics); Danny Rowton (bass guitar) and Simon Bellamy (guitar, vocals, electronics). Their debut album, Do The Job, was released in September 2009 and received positive acclaim, as did Build more recently.
Following on from the release of Do The Job, Baddies embarked on a massive world tour, playing 180 dates in a year. They have also played at Glastonbury Festival, on the BBC Introducing stage.
