January 30th 2012 sees the release of Baddies new single Bronto, for which the band have just finished shooting this video. The band have also announced their first UK tour dates of the year, to take place throughout February and March of 2012.
Baddies returned to their native Southend at the end of 2009 having toured in Europe, Japan and Australia. With an endless list of dates behind them, the band took their time to carefully construct album number two, called Build. The album was produced by Sean Genockey (Futureheads, Reuben, Manic Street Preachers, Starsailor).
Baddies debut album 'Do The Job' was a success and most of it was achieved off their own backs. It sold over 10,000 copies worldwide, with the band playing 32 major festivals the year of its release, more festivals than any other band in Europe managed that year. They ended up doing live sessions for Huw Stephens at BBC Radio1 and John Kennedy at XFM.
The first single to be taken from 'Build' is 'Bronto', a song that impacts immediately with infectious vocal hooks and hypnotizing synths. The track is also being given away for free.
Baddies have played at festivals such as Reading, Glastonbury, Pukkelpop and Roskilde, to name a few.
