Flushed with the success of its Kindle ebook reader, Amazon is planning to introduce a number of other e-commerce gadgets, including a smartphone that will produce 3D images without glasses, the Wall Street Journal reported today (Friday), citing people familiar with the company's plans. The 4G device would also allow users to navigate through content using just their eyes, the report said. A deal has been struck with Qualcomm to provide chips for the smartphones but has not negotiated contracts with carriers to provide cellular service to them. The names and prices of the devices have apparently not been determined, the Journal report indicated.
