Viola Davis is set to take on leading roles in two new movies Creatures and Ender's Game.
Viola Davis has landed two new leading roles.
The Oscar-nominated 'The Help' actress will star in 'Creatures' based on the book by Margaret Stohl and Kami Garcia and will take one of the main parts, playing a librarian friend of the lead character, who loves him like a mother.
The movie is the first of a planned trilogy which will cover the other books 'Beautiful Darkness' and 'Beautiful Chaos' in the series about two teens dealing with a curse which has plagued a family for generations.
Viola, will also star in 'Ender's Game', which tells the story of a talented youngster recruited by humanity to fight off an insect-like alien race. She will play a military psychologist who oversees the emotional welfare of young trainees and helps design The Games that test their skills and resilience.
'Ender's Game' is set to start shooting shortly.
