Country star Vince Gill has left his record label after a partnership of more than 22 years.
The singer has been signed to MCA Records since 1989, but during an appearance at Universal Music Group's Country Radio Seminar show in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday (22Feb12) he announced the business relationship has now come to an end.
Gill, who has released 10 albums with Mca, told the audience, "I'm just grateful for where I've been, and you've been a big part of where I've been and where I'm going. To my Mca family, it was really a sweet ride the last 23 years, and I appreciate everything you do."
