London quintet Stickman Cartel unveil the bnew video for their debut single 'Accolade' which is set for release on September 2nd 2013 through Your Face Records.
With their knack of putting on thrilling live shows no matter where they are, it's only logical to create a video based on that. It is filmed in the eyes of an individual who attends a Stickman Cartel gig, first arriving on the stage before being hauled into the audience by a member of security. He later gets punched by the boyfriend of a nearby female, before taking to the toilets to throw up and revealing his true identity in the wall mirror. The song itself is party perfect; the best mix of both upbeat and chilled out, and with such an infectious melody and radio-friendly vocals.
If that's your kind of thing then don't even think about missing their single launch party on August 28th at the Waiting Room in Stoke Newington where entry is completely free of charge. Band member Ben explained why they released 'Accolade' as their first single. 'It's the perfect introduction to our style of music, a song that blends the various genres of music that have influenced our writing', he said.
