Glasgow metal four-piece Shambles In A Husk bring some serious noise with their debut single 'Cowboy Doom' which has been released through Red Medicine Records alongside a black and white new video.
The video is a simple performance video but by no means dull; watching fingers flying up and down the fretboard of an electric guitar makes for enough amusement as we are introduced to some impressively frenzied riffs, bellowing vocals and speedy drums. It's a loud burst of energy from this up and coming metal band that earns respect with its mainly instrumental focus and feels reminiscent of the likes of Adebisi Shank, The Dillinger Escape Plan and Refused.
The band; who are guitarists and vocalists Steven Murray and Kyle Shields, drummer Jonathan Beveridge and bassist Steven Adamson; formed towards the end of 2013 and have already received support from the likes of BBC Radio 1. Expect a lot more from Shambles In A Husk this year as they have three new singles set for release followed by debut EP due out at the end of 2014. Not only that, you can catch them live on their European Tour later this year which they are currently still building on.
