Swedish duo Mach7ne will be releasing their double A side single 'Save Me'/ 'Say You Will' through H.E.W. Productions on January 20th 2014 with their debut album 'Voice Of A Lifetime' to follow later on March 3rd.
The video for the track features plenty of dark rooms and light overexposure as the very serious looking twosome hold a lightbulb aloft while singing to the camera. They also shoot outside some rundown area of Stockholm, which gives the track a raw, industrial feel. The song itself combines melancholic vocals with classic guitar riffs and upbeat synth sounds. It's a mellow tune but still remains energetic because of its key dance vibes.
'It's a laid back tune', guitarist Ed Winson admits. 'But it illustrates another depth in our sound. We really like the dance influence here, which we're very keen on exploring further.' Inspired by such artists as Peter Gabriel, Depeche Mode, U2 and Coldplay, Machine jumped at the chance to work with a major pop producer from London, Yoad Nevo, who has previously worked with the likes of Pet Shop Boys, Bryan Adams, Goldfrapp and Morcheeba. 'You're going to like - or at least notice - how great the production on this album is', singer Martin promises.
