Lucy Rose - 2012 Video Interview
Year 2012Genre(s) Alternative
The charming vocals of Lucy Rose are set to be turned into her upcoming debut album 'Like I Used To' due out on September 24th 2012 through Columbia Records. She has already earned a hugely enthusiastic fanbase and now manages regular sell-out headline shows where she has her own tradition of selling tea and jam at merchandise stalls rather than CDs.
Lucy's most recent single, 'Lines', has been well-received by national radio stations in the UK and US. We caught up with her for a chat at Leeds Festival over the band holiday weekend to have a chat about her new album, how she feels about comparisons to other female singer songwriters and she also puts to rest the rumours about her starting out as a backing vocalist for Bombay Bicycle Club (She didn't, by the way, they're just friends!).
