Hull four-piece Life will be releasing their double A side single 'Money' and 'Crawling' on March 17th 2014 through Birthday Records. They now unveil a video for 'Crawling' as they prepare to head out of Hull and round the rest of the UK on their March tour.
The 'Crawling' video is a simple performance visual, done in the effect of a poor quality VHS and occasionally cutting to the back of the lead singer's leather biker jacket which reads 'Life' in white writing. The simplicity of the video adds to the lo-fi rawness of the rock track, and gives it a retro punk quality that is enhanced by the yelled vocals and fast paced guitar riffs.
Since forming a year ago, the band; who are brothers Mez and Mick (vocalist and guitarist respectively), bassist Loz and drummer Rich; have received praise from a variety of high-profile sources and stand out to be one of the most chaotic and energetic punk groups of the year. The latest single was produced by former Kaiser Chiefs drummer turned producer Nick Hodgson and, while they're currently on tour in the UK, music lovers shouldn't miss the opportunity to catch a glimpse of them as they'll be rocking out for free on many of their upcoming dates.
