Scottish pop singer Kerri Watt unveils a video for her new track 'You', taken from her new EP of the same name which was is set for release on April 27th 2015 through 25 Hour Convenience Store Records.
The video sees Kerri waking up in the middle of a maze, amid frequent images of red smoke. The song itself is a classic American-style pop anthem; easy-listening with sassy vocals and summery vibe. 'I love music with big anthemic choruses, the songs that get your feet stomping, and that an audience can really get involved in', she has previously stated. 'That's what I'm aiming for.'
Kerri signed to The Libertines drummer Gary Powell's record label after her manager Dan Ickowitz-Seidler introduced them, and she has performed a variety of high profile shows including Glastonbury and Dot-to-Dot Festival. A talented singer, she hit California to attend theatre school, before returning and exploring London with musical theatre in mind. Now she's doing everything she can to launch a career with making music. 'I'm just looking forward to finally getting my music out there', she admitted. 'I've been waiting for this all of my life.' And with such an impressive musical background behind her, the world is certainly waiting for Kerri Watt.
