German sibling duo Hundreds have released a live video of themselves performing their brand new track 'Beehive'. The song appears on their newly released second album 'Aftermath', which came out on Sinnbus in May 2014.
The live performance features eerie visual projections on the screen behind them which, coupled with the dim lighting, sets up a melancholy vibe that continues throughout the song. The duo have maintained their hypnotic sound with echoing vocals, a steady rhythm and cinematic synths and judging by their energetic live shows, it's clear they are enjoying their fans' response to the new record.
'Aftermath' follows their debut release 'Hundreds' and marks a gentle creative transition to a more mature but just as elegant sound. Before 'Beehive', Hundreds released the first single of 'Aftermath' entitled 'Circus' which was a lot more upbeat with a definite jazzy vibe to it. It looks like their sophomore offering has plenty of surprises in store for those who haven't picked it up yet. The band, who are brother and sister Philip and Eva Milner, are on tour this summer with several dates around Germany including festival stints at the likes of Fusion Festival in Larz, Germany; Tollwood Festival in Munich; and Bruckenfestival in Nuremberg.
