Goldie Thorn is a London synth duo who explore their city in a new light in the video for their newest song 'Chrome Night'. The track features on their upcoming EP 'Canal Life', which is due to be released on Dreamtime Records on September 25th 2015.
The video is more of an artistic montage following the morning of a young woman, featuring snippets of street art, trees and flowers and other people's daily lives. There's a retro edge to the filming quality, which is well-suited to the classic disco vibe; a vibe that bleeds easily into an atmospheric soundscape with a few hazy synth lines and resonant vocals.
Goldie Thorn - who are singer and drummer Gold & Chain, and synth-player Reverend Thorn - started out in Australia before moving to the UK, and with all downloads of their new EP they are unveiling a bonus song: 'Chrome Night (Faze Action remix)'.
