London trio Glitches finally unveil the video to their new single 'Only Time Will Tell' after teasing fans for weeks with photos from the video shoot and a trailer posted on their Facebook page. The single is set to be released on July 22nd 2013 through Kissability records.
The video features the bomber jacket and Converse donning threesome hitting a pebbly British beach at sunset clutching what looks like a smoke grenade before building a large fort out of wooden crates and setting fire to it. The group dance spiritedly, still clutching their smoke bombs, while watching their structure burn to the ground. The slow-motion effect and exuberance adds to the celebratory feel of the track which already has an infectiously soaring, anthemic air making it a perfect upbeat summer tune. It represents liberation, being young and being fearless and captures an element of instinctive youth spirit that's inside us all.
Glitches have been recognised by numerous music media outlets including NME and BBC Radio 1 leading them to be billed at the hugely popular Great Escape Festival in Brighton earlier this summer. They are soon set to play an orchestral show at St Pancras Church in London, curated by The Mahogany Sessions, on July 17th 2013.
