Formed in 2009, Futures are Ant West (Vocals/Guitar); Casey Roarty (Guitar); Christian Ward (Bass) and George Lindsay (Drums). The band built up a large, loyal fanbase through touring and in 2011 they supported indie rock band Ash on two sold out shows. Futures have also performed sets at The Slam Dunk Festival in 2010 and the Redfest Festival in 2011.
Their debut mini album, The Holiday, was released for free in 2010 through an issue of the magazine Rock Sound. The magazine later revealed that that particular issue was their highest selling in two years. The album gained positive reviews from critics.
