Foreign Slippers - It All Starts Now
Artist Foreign SlippersSong title It All Starts Now
Year 2012Genre(s) Alternative
With a May 14th release date in the pipeline, 'It All Stars Now' is the enchantingly beautiful single from the latest Scandinavia export set to astound critics across the globe; Foreign Slippers. Like a mixture of Instagram formulated photographs and audition tapes for films never made, the video sees Foreign Slipper leading lady Gabi Froden guide you around various spots across her native country.
The softly spoken verse and quiet as a mouse guitar plucks draw you in, with the almost anthemic chorus coming at you out of the blue, sweeping you off your feet. The track is taken from the upcoming debut album from the collective, headed by Froden, titled Farewell To The Old Ghosts. The album is set to effortlessly illustrate Froden's ability to craft intelligent songs that surprise you for all the right reasons and will be unleashed on June 25th through Adventures in Gramophone. Of course Gabi is a woman of many talents, illustrating children's books outside of her time with Foreign Slippers.
The group will be gracing the shores of the British Isles as they undertake an extensive tour of the continent and should be coming to a town or city near your in the near future.
