Crumpton discusses the fall of Kandahar, Afghanistan in 2001 and the role the CIA have had in capturing Al Qaeda sights and gaining the trust of non-terrorist Afghan civilians at a signing for his new book 'The Art of Intelligence' at Books and Books in Coral Gables, Florida.
He reveals that ten to thirty thousand of the Taliban and Al Qaeda enemy and a quarter of Al Qaeda leadership died on the battlefield of Kandahar compared to a mere 500 of American CIA and special forces members. He explains that it is down to intelligence collected by the CIA since 1996
The actor says he isn't "holding out for more money or doing anything like that".
The drama will be making its return to the streaming service in the near future.
