Flash Fiktion's new single, Starry Glow, will be released on February 20th, 2012, through Split Records. Their self-produced and self-titled debut album will be released on March 5th, 2012.
The video for Starry Glow sees the trio puzzled by the appearance of a mysterious red door. They are transported to different locations each time they walk through it and there are times when they catch a glimpse of each other walking through the door. Eventually, they end up in the same place together.
Flash Fiktion formed in South London and comprise Matt Rokk; Oliver Thomas and Dan Peranic. Their name is derived from the specific type of shirt story that can fit onto the back of a postcard. Their debut album was recorded over a period of two and a half years and received positive reviews from critics.
The trio bonded over a love of film, including David Cronenburg's science fiction film Videodrome and satirical movie Network. As well as film, they also bonded over David Bowie, who is an obvious influence when it comes to their music.
