Hamburg rockers F*** Art, Let's Dance will be releasing their debut album 'Atlas' on April 28th 2014 through Audiolith records. 'Home' is one of the more electronic tracks on the album and they now accompany it with a black and white, city montage of a video.
The video was shot in the bustling cities of Japan and features rushed images of various parts of daily life from travel; where we see shots of planes, subway and train stations and cars; to everyday workers, with clips of metalworkers and a falconry enthusiast. The seemingly randomness of the images coupled with their speedy delivery matches the fast paced and rather chaotic synths and guitars in the track, which in turn contrast the rhythmic drums and slow echoing vocals.
With a band name like F*** Art, Let's Dance, you expect some driving rhythms and upbeat basslines to keep you on your feet, and 'Atlas' certainly does the job. They announced earlier this month (February) that the first single will be 'We're Manicals!', which has a release date of March 7th 2014. The band have been playing various gigs over recent weeks, and will appear at Proud Camden bar in London on February 22nd.
