Black Country rock quintet EOfE have now launched the eerily styled video for their newest single 'Wake Up', as they finally wrap up work on their debut album at Red City Studios in Manchester alongside producer David Radahd-Jones.
The video sees the band rocking out in a dilapidated and abandoned house, partially overtaken by climbing ivy vines. Then we see a man and woman almost completely covered in black bodypaint and wearing striking blue contact lenses contorting themselves and dancing erratically to the music. The creepy 'costumes' (if you can call them that) with dramatic wind effects add some mystique to this already melancholic pop punk anthem, which is made complete by the classic ferocious guitars and typically thunderous drums.
'Wake Up' follows previous releases 'Stars In Hollywood' and 'Bridges'; songs which all, no doubt, will be making appearances on the festival circuit this year. Having just played at the UK home of new music, Brighton's The Great Escape, EOfE are set to hit London for Camden Rocks on May 30th 2015 and the Summer's best rock event Download in June.
