Between 1976 and 1981, Duncan 'Kid' Reid served as the bassist and vocals for The Boys. The band was a favourite of Joey Ramone, which led to them touring together after the release of Alternative Chartbusters in 1978. Now, Duncan Reid is heading up The Big Heads, and their new song ‘C’est La Vie’ emulates the same, funky and catchy style.
The video begins with a series of shots of walls, before the camera follows Duncan and the other members of The Big Heads (Alexander Gold, Sophie Lynch and drummer Ciara Lavers) as they walk around a spacy office building and give a live performance on the roof. The video is made up of impressive camera work with multi-level shots, giving it a much bigger feeling.
After the critical success of their debut album, ‘Little Big Head’ in 2013, The Big Heads got to work on ‘The Difficult Second Album’, which consists of 12 track – one of which is ‘C’est La Vie’. In celebration, they embarked on a few shows in the first three days of October in London and Birmingham. ‘The Difficult Second Album’ was released on 6th October, 2014.
